Brooke + Ike Wedding

Brooke + Ike Wedding

The one day of the week these two decided to tie the knot, it was hot! Just my luck because I was getting spoiled with the cool weather we JUST had but these two and their wedding gang were absolute troopers! When I walked into Our Lady Of Sorrows there were family everywhere preparing and getting ready to watch these two lovebirds of 10 years unit and become one. Brooke was in one room fluffing her veil with her ladies and Ike was in the other grinning ear to ear hanging with his buddies. I never really realized how many years these two had invested until their big day when their beautiful 5 children stepped up to take photos with them. Rewinding back to Brooke walking down the isle, the one thing I’m a sucker for is when the groom see’s his bride and his emotions take over. Brooke looked absolutely stunning in her Bliss Bridal gown and her cathedral veil and Ike couldn’t take his eyes off of her. After all these years, it’s such an awesome expereince to see the sparks fly between them.

The reception was at one of our beautiful local venues located on the outskirts at D&E Party Barn. It’s so peaceful out there and the few times we’ve been out there we always see dear roaming around! Lil Bambi’s! The room was filled with all of their closest friends and family, the drinks were flowing and the celebration of these two was a night to remember!

Brooke + Ike, always communicate, keep each other first in everything you do and cherish every second you are given together. There will be ups and downs but just as long as you keep those three things in mind.. You will get through anything! Thank you for choosing Captured Moments by Christine!

Cody + Jaime Varner

Cody + Jaime Varner

These two! My experience with Jaime and Cody was non the less a blast to work with!

When I met Jaime for our consultation she brought her beautiful mini me Kylie with her. She was laid back, knew what she wanted and ready to take on the planning of her big day. When I finally met Cody it was totally opposite! He was outgoing, very energetic and very spontaneous in every moved he made. I could see why they were perfect for each other. They balance each other out! After 18 years with the love of my life who is also totally opposite.. I just know they are going to have a life long marriage with love and happiness!

Cody & Jaime met in Rockport and were inseparable for weeks before he actually took them on their first date. A little over a year into their relationship while she was expecting their daughter Cody took Jaime to the same place they met and got down on one knee. Five years later.. they are finally Mr + Mrs Varner and have an adorable little girl!

I was hoping the Texas heat would start moving into fall but nope, didn’t happen. Aside from that walking into the Soiree’ I was just amazed of how well this beautiful bride decorated the reception hall. It was Ivory, rose gold, blush and very well put together! Here’s just a sneak peek of their big day! My advice to you Jaime + Cody is always communicate, keep each other first in everything you do and cherish every second you are given together. There will be ups and downs but just as long as you keep those three things in mind.. You will get through anything! Thank you for choosing Captured Moments by Christine!

Cortland + Chris

Cortland + Chris

When I met Cortland at our scheduled consultation we clicked instantly! Here is this gorgeous Real Estate agent who’s famous on a billboard and she chose me to capture such an important day! LOL

Let’s start with how we got where we are today! I just love is how Chris proposed to her and I have to share how it happened! On June 9 Chris spent the day trying to plan the perfect way to propose.. He decorated their house in pedals, roses and candles and dressed their furbaby in a Will You Marry Me sign hanging from her neck. Cortland came through the door and didn’t even see it! She walked in the living room and covered her face instantly with her hands already in tears for what was about to happen. Chris got on one knee and proposed to be hers and her to be his forever!

Fast forwarding to our engagement session, despite the humidity it was perfect. The setting at Brackenridge Park was romantic and deer even showed up to see what was going on. I’ll never forget the way he looked at her (I also posed him to look at her often LOL). He always had a smile on his face.. You can tell just by looking at them, they have that forever kinda love!

So excited to be apart of this journey with you two! Can’t wait for your big day!

Mario + Taylor

Mario + Taylor

When I met Taylor + Mario we instantly connected! I was like.. these two are super cool. I could totally have a glass of wine and chill with them on a Saturday afternoon! LOL Taylor is a vibrant, gorgeous down to earth chick and Mario is that cherry on top that completes this sweet pair! One thing I love about them is how they keep the spark in their relationship.. They pick on each other but come back with a flirty gesture or comment and close with a kiss! It’s truly adorable to watch! Funny story is how they met. Over 6 1/2 years ago they met and Taylor was not a big fan of Mario. Long story, they can tell you LOL. A year later they crossed paths again locking eyes and it was game over for the both of them! They have been inseparable for 5 1/2 years and created a beautiful family!

About a year ago Mario took Taylor to Nashville Tennessee and decided to stop at a restaurant before heading to their escape room destination. Little did Taylor know Mario had a plan up his sleeve!  Mario, being the romantic guy he is, had the waitress bring over cheese cake with the words “Will you marry me” and got down on one knee and said in just a few sweet words “Will you spend the rest of your life with me?”

Y’all, it doesn’t stop there! Her forever honeyman wrote and recorded a song dedicated to her for their first dance. It was amazing and definitely going to hit the charts! I’m more than sure it will become a hit wedding song for future bride + grooms! The song is called, “I did before I do” by Mario Morales. Check it out!

So, closing this blog to the final moments of my journey with Taylor + Mario. Their day was unforgettable. From the moment we got there, there was not a dull moment or a moment for me to even pause. Their families were amazing and their friends, wild and crazy! Just like I like em! LOL. My advice to you Taylor + Mario is always communicate, keep each other first in everything you do and cherish every second you are given together. There will be ups and downs but just as long as you keep those three things in mind.. You will get through anything! Thank you for choosing Captured Moments by Christine!

Alicia + Timothy Alaniz Wedding

Alicia + Timothy Alaniz Wedding

When I met Alicia & Timothy, I instantly knew we were all a great fit! Alicia has the most beautiful smile and Timothy knows it too! He looks at her with such admiration and it is the sweetest thing to see! Timothy is fun, laid back and had us laughing the whole time!

Together, they are perfection! Timothy & Alicia met when they worked at the same agency. He would throw flirts here and there but Alicia played hard to get! Finally, after time and time again… she threw in the towel and gave love a chance. The romantic guy she said he is, he took her to California, San Diego to be exact, to be is girlfriend which also happened to be the same location he popped the question. 5 years later they both consider each other best friends and the love of their lives!

We arrived at Soiree just a few minutes early to start our day and walking into the venue was warm, welcoming & simply elegant. The bride was organized and followed our wedding guide leaving her details ready for us to shoot on one of her dressed and decorated guest tables. Time flowed smoothly and then it seemed in the blink of an eye we were fast forwarding through the ceremony, group photos and reception which brings me to the conclusion of this blog..

Alicia & Timothy, I am so happy to have met you two and loved every moment we got to chat and prepare! My advice to you is always communicate, keep each other first in everything you do and cherish every second you are given together. Mr + Mrs Jones Wedding

Mr + Mrs Jones Wedding
Untitled-2

When Layton’s mom contacted me the beginning of this year and told me about her daughter and future son in law I couldn’t be more ecstatic to be their photographer. One of my favorite places to shoot weddings is at Teaghlach Meadows in Yorktown and if you haven’t been there.. well.. takes your breath away! It’s gorgeous!

Lesley mentioned to me that meeting her daughter Layton would be impossible to meet up with for a while only because she was a student teaching Ag at Katy HS and all the major livestock shows were in the Spring so most of our communication was via text and email to plan their special day! All I can say it that it worked out perfectly and when the time came where we were all able to finally meet we clicked instantly! Layton is absolutely stunning and carried herself with such class and Levi is a charming gentlemen with heart emoji’s in his eyes every time he glanced at the love of his life during our final consultation.

I learned that Levi + Layton met their freshman year at Texas A&M University in an Animal Science 107 class and have been inseparable for 4 years and are parents to two fur babies Marlo and Lexi.

Back to their wedding day! It was probably one of the hottest days of the week so a hand towel was my best friend that day! Despite the heat, it was perfect. Their ceremony was held at a church in Cuero that always caught my eye because of it’s pure white paint and it’s big red door. Did I mention the breezeway full of white arches and beautiful vines with big orange trumpet flowers! Ughhhh it was the perfect spot for our bride + groom shots!

After the ceremony we headed out to Teaghlach Meadows. There were cars lined up row after row and a tent was added to the reception hall to fill both with the people that love Layton + Levi the most. Their families made us feel so welcome and were some of the sweetest most down to earth individuals we ever met! One thing I love about them is when the music played.. they were getting down! Pushing the fast forward button the night ended with a bang! No literally, A firework company was hired to send them off with what you would call a finale of fireworks! Y’all! It was so romantic! The minute he dipped her with their friends and families surrounding them with sparklers BOOM! Fireworks! So enough of this chitter chatter.. Here is just a few of my favorite images from their hard to choose album! Thank you for choosing Captured Moments by Christine to capture your big day!

Mr & Mrs Bartonek

Mr & Mrs Bartonek

I first met Daniel & Amanda in their hometown of San Antonio during their engagement session on the Riverwalk which is one of my favorite places to be. We started just beneath the Hyatt Hotel along this wall of greenery with soothing mini waterfalls. We walked what felt like the whole Riverwalk and downtown area and I learned so much about them and how they met.. Amanda and Daniel have been together for a little over 6 years and their story of how the met feels like a “Dirty Dancing” series to me which by the way is one of my favorite movies of all time! They meet through the Latin Dance Society at UTSA where Daniel was the charming choreographer who instantly caught her eye as he choreographed the Salsa dance she would be performing. It was no surprise that one of my questions to the would be if they would be performing a salsa for their wedding and I was none the less happy with their answer! Jumping forward to their first dance.. it was everything!

Denise and I arrived a little after lunchtime at Trinity Lutheran Church ready and prepared for the day ahead of us.  This church’s outdoor area is breathtaking with a beautiful breezeway full of greenery and archways that made beautiful backgrounds for our group shots! After all of the detail shots it was time for Amanda to put on her dress.. All her favorite ladies surrounded her and instantly the tear works starting flowing. Ughhh, these are some of my favorite moments and why I love doing what I do!

Preparing for our pre ceremony shots like any July wedding bride and groom we were dreading the Texas heat but everyone pushed through it like champs! Did I mention I am ready for fall and winter! Well, I am.. One of the sweetest moments of their wedding was knowing that not only was Amanda’s father walking her down the isle, he was also the Pastor of the church and would be performing their ceremony along with the grooms best man. It was personal and beautiful to watch!

Amanda & Daniel in their 6 years together have already traveled to so many places I could only dream of and used those moments to create the perfect theme for their forever day. Everything was travel themed and each table was dressed with photos of them in their ventures in the many countries they have been together.

I got to know Daniel and Amanda during our time together for their engagement, bridals and their wedding and can honestly say that they are truly meant to be together. I am so happy I got to be their photographer to capture such important moments in their lives. I wish you two happiness and a lifetime of continuing to seek new adventures in your time of traveling the world together now as husband and wife. Thank you for choosing Captured Moments by Christine!

Mr & Mrs Flores

Mr & Mrs Flores

I must be dreaming because Joanna & Jonathan have been a perfect CMBC couple! When I first met Joanna I was taken back not only by how gorgeous she was but how sweet and soft spoken she is.. Jonathan is one lucky guy but I can also say that Joanna is one lucky girl. After 11 years together and the way they look at each other you can tell their love is that forever kind of love.  Yes, 11 years! Some may say it’s about time he got down on bended knee and sealed the deal! Just saying LOL. They met in the 6 grade, dated through high school for about 1 1/2 years and kept in touch and have been together ever since they graduated in 2008.

Through the 11 years they had two beautiful children. A son who is 9, and a darling 3 year old daughter who I must say is absolutely adorable! She was always so great in front of my camera! They have had a lifetime of beautiful experiences so what better way to start the next chapter in their lives by sealing their love with the exchange of vows in-front of their closest friends and family.

Their wedding day was one of the hottest days this summer but these two were even hotter! Their love definitely out sizzles any hot day! Walking into the Soiree’ I admired all of the beautiful decorations in blue grey tables with blush and champaign accents. So many people came together to create the perfect forever day for Joanna & Jonathan! Here’s a sneak peek with a few of my favorite photos! Thank you Joanna & Jonathan for choosing Captured Moments by Christine to capture such an important day in your lives and we wish you joy and happiness in many years to come!

Daizie Fuentez Quinceanera

Daizie Fuentez Quinceanera

I met Tina years ago and was excited when she asked me to be apart of her beautiful daughters special day! Let me tell you, Tina has her stuff together and is truly an organized soul! Daizie is so lucky to have Tina & John as parents. Just the time I’ve spent with them you can see the love they have for their children and would go above and beyond to make their dreams come true. They even surprised her with New England Patriots tickets!

Our day started at Hilton hotel where the lovely Daizie got all beautified in her suite with 30 of her closets friends by her side. She wore a beautiful white gown from Glitter Houston with nails painted in every florescent color to go with her neon theme. Daizie and her friends were picked up by a huge party bus… no.. more like a huge charter bus that brought her to Our Lady of Sorrows for the ceremony.

After the ceremony we took family portraits and the kids took a few group shots before headed out on a venture of their own until dinner. When Denise and I arrived at the Dome is was we were in awe of all the colorful and beautiful decorations! I mean, this place was immaculate! The Dome filled up with 100’s of their closets friends and family with music played by San Antonio DJ Jammin J Javi. It was definitely a night to remember! Here’s a sneak peek of some of my favorite photos of your special day Daizie! Thank you for choosing Captured Moments by Christine!
