Mr + Mrs Jones Wedding

Untitled-2

When Layton’s mom contacted me the beginning of this year and told me about her daughter and future son in law I couldn’t be more ecstatic to be their photographer. One of my favorite places to shoot weddings is at Teaghlach Meadows in Yorktown and if you haven’t been there.. well.. takes your breath away! It’s gorgeous!

Lesley mentioned to me that meeting her daughter Layton would be impossible to meet up with for a while only because she was a student teaching Ag at Katy HS and all the major livestock shows were in the Spring so most of our communication was via text and email to plan their special day! All I can say it that it worked out perfectly and when the time came where we were all able to finally meet we clicked instantly! Layton is absolutely stunning and carried herself with such class and Levi is a charming gentlemen with heart emoji’s in his eyes every time he glanced at the love of his life during our final consultation.

I learned that Levi + Layton met their freshman year at Texas A&M University in an Animal Science 107 class and have been inseparable for 4 years and are parents to two fur babies Marlo and Lexi.

Back to their wedding day! It was probably one of the hottest days of the week so a hand towel was my best friend that day! Despite the heat, it was perfect. Their ceremony was held at a church in Cuero that always caught my eye because of it’s pure white paint and it’s big red door. Did I mention the breezeway full of white arches and beautiful vines with big orange trumpet flowers! Ughhhh it was the perfect spot for our bride + groom shots!

After the ceremony we headed out to Teaghlach Meadows. There were cars lined up row after row and a tent was added to the reception hall to fill both with the people that love Layton + Levi the most. Their families made us feel so welcome and were some of the sweetest most down to earth individuals we ever met! One thing I love about them is when the music played.. they were getting down! Pushing the fast forward button the night ended with a bang! No literally, A firework company was hired to send them off with what you would call a finale of fireworks! Y’all! It was so romantic! The minute he dipped her with their friends and families surrounding them with sparklers BOOM! Fireworks! So enough of this chitter chatter.. Here is just a few of my favorite images from their hard to choose album! Thank you for choosing Captured Moments by Christine to capture your big day!
