Morgan + Jessica Olney Wedding

Morgan + Jessica Olney Wedding

Morgan and Jessica were a dream to work with and it was inevitable that these two were made to be together! Morgan and Jessica met when they were kids and these two even played little league baseball together along with her 2 brothers. Morgan and Jessica went to different high schools and only ran into each other at the local dancehall when they visited their hometown.. The only time they ever saw each other was when they would go out to dance.. Who would have ever thought that very thing called “dance” would be a big part of who they are today!

Jessica looked like a radiant royal princess and did it Kate Middleton style in her Elizabeth Lee Bridal gown. She held her composure and hid her nerves with such elegance for her forever day with her bride tribe and beautiful mother while they got dolled up on the second floor of the gorgeous venue The Reserve at Dancing Elk. (Did I mention I saw a camel there!?) I learned through our time together that Jessica and her mother Shelly have one of the strongest mother / daughter bonds I have ever seen. Every time Shelly would look at Jessica, she beamed with that proud mom glow!

Morgan had a smile from ear to ear and had such a humble confidence about him as if he had been preparing himself for this very moment all his life…  He waited patiently with his best buds in the grooms room at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church while he slipped on his boots and threw on his tux jacket cool calm and collective before the minutes dropped down to the final few before the clock strikes 3..

I’ll let the photos speak for themselves next! I can’t wait to share their love story through my lens!

William + Hailey Clem

William + Hailey Clem

All I have to say is “WOW”! This couple is one of the sweetest, most in-love couples I’ve had the pleasure of knowing in my 8 years of business! Both Hailey & William are from Dallas so most of our communication has been through cell and email but, when I met them.. I felt like I knew them all my life. They were so welcoming and had so much confidence in my team and I capturing such an important day in their lives!

William & Hailey both met their very first day of college at Texas State University. They were part of the same STEM scholarship group. Hailey majored in Applied Mathematics and Will majored in Mechanical Engineering Technology. They both lived in the same dorm and quickly became close friends not knowing that they were developing these unexplained feelings. 4 1/2 years later.. they are united as one and have a beautiful tricolored Corgi as their fur baby!

Their wedding day was absolutely stunning and all of their closest friends and family were so welcoming! The music had all of us swinging our hips and the food melted in our mouths! My only complaint.. the Texas heat! Other than that.. pure perfection! Here is just a sneak peek of some of my favorite moments on their forever day!

Will + Hailey, always communicate, keep each other and your faith first in everything you do… cherish every second you are given together.. never go to bed angry. There will be ups and downs but just as long as you keep those things in mind.. You will get through anything! Destiny Fuentez Quinceanera

Destiny Fuentez Quinceanera

This is my second Quinceanera for this amazing family! From the moment I worked with Tina, John and their family I instantly connected with them! They are such wonderful individuals and have always been so welcoming..  (Did I mention they own one of my favorite places! Sweet Fountainz Bakery which is the previous Halepaska’s Bakery)

Even with all the crazy happening in the world today, this family stayed strong, planned their event for their baby girl and saw it through. Other than wearing masks, everything felt normal.. The church was filled with their loving friends and family and the ceremony was inspirational! Destiny had 15 ladies and 15 young men in her court and the love of many supporting sponsors to shower her with such beautiful gifts to help celebrate her womanhood. Here’s just a sneak peek of this beautiful young ladies special day! Thank you for choosing Captured Moments by Christine!

Syndal + Randy Morris Wedding

Syndal + Randy Morris Wedding

Through these COVID times, I love to see my couples push through all the chaos to make their forever day happen..  I got to spend a lot of time communicating with Syndal and her mother Dolly through our journey and really got to see the strength and golden heart in these two! Syndal is such a strong woman and not only beautiful on the inside but on the outside as well! With so many obstacles along the way the day finally came for her and her forever to unit as one in front of their closest friends and family. These two both remained tough through complicated storms of events but never let anything get in the way.

When I walked into Spring Creek Venue I couldn’t believe how gorgeous it looked! It was literally breathtaking.. We started off with all of the detail shots and finally got to hang out with Syndal and her ladies! The bond between all of them was obvious and the  emotions also had Denise and I in tears. Time was flowing perfectly and Syndal staying calm and radiant the whole time! Well, she’s good at hiding it anyway if she was LOL.

The time came for her moment to walk down the isle with her hand wrapped around her fathers arm and it felt like time stood still. Through chaos and the tropical storm outside, it was the perfect ceremony. It was the perfect wedding… Here’s sneak peek of my day with Syndal & Randy Morris! But first… my message to you two..

Syndal & Randy, always communicate, keep each other and your faith first in everything you do… cherish every second you are given together.. never go to bed angry. There will be ups and downs but just as long as you keep those things in mind.. You will get through anything! Sarah + John Hill

Sarah + John Hill

Where do I even begin with these two! Sarah reached out to me about doing her wedding just before their lil guy was born. She wasn’t sure when, or exactly where.. but she knew it was going to be small, intimate and everything she ever wanted… When Sarah finally set a date, I had other obligations but wasn’t going to miss it for the world! I rearranged my schedule, paused moving from one studio to the other and made it happen. Why wouldn’t I!?! I wanted to be the one to capture this beautiful couple and witness such a unique love. I adore Sarah & John!

Friday, July 24, 2020 at 2 PM, all of their closest friends and family were at the Gazebo downtown waiting patiently and luckily there was a nice subtle breeze that made that afternoon very pleasant. Once they arrived and took their places, the tears already started rolling for John. It brought on the water works just to see him tear up before she even walked down the isle, but it also shows the happiness and overwhelming feeling he felt in that moment. She looked beautiful, like a Goddess… I can sit here and write more into detail as to what happened after that, but why? I’m a photographer.. I’ll let the photos do the talking and tell the story. Here’s just a sneak peek of my time with John & Sarah…

Happy birthday Sarah!

Bianca + Caleb Benitez Wedding

Bianca + Caleb Benitez Wedding

This was such an emotional day.. My baby niece and her now husband Caleb are scheduled to get married next March but with the pandemic and the chaos in the world, they wanted to unite in matrimony and become husband and wife. It was planned quick and witnessed by their immediate families. Watching my niece walk down the isle gave me flashbacks of when she was just a baby.. I use to tell her she looked like the “not the mama” dinosaur baby on an old kiddy show Dinosaurs I used to watch when my son was little. So naturally, I was laughing in my head about it but the tears wouldn’t stop rolling. Why do we cry at weddings? Is it because we feel we are losing something? Is it because it’s just a crazy beautiful thing to witness? Or is it because it makes us realize how old we are? LOL I’m sure everyone has their different reasons….

For me, it’s was watching this beautiful little girl becoming someones wife, someones step mother and now gaining a new nephew.. I couldn’t be more proud of her and watching all her dreams come true.

Congratulations to my beautiful niece and my new nephew Caleb! Here’s just a sneak peek of their ceremony and group photos. Until next year! Can’t wait for their big day!

Daylyn + John Hunt Wedding

Daylyn + John Hunt Wedding

When I met Daylyn & John for our wedding consultation, things were normal in this world! Well, I say normal but it seems like what we are going through with COVID-19 is the new norm. Regardless, Daylyn & John stayed sane, kept in good spirits and continued planning their forever day knowing that at the end of the day, as long as it was them two uniting in matrimony, that’s all that mattered.

When I arrived at the Cady home, the first thing I noticed was the absolutely adorable porch! I asked her mom how she kept all her beautiful florals alive and her response was “30 years of trial and error!” LOL. I’m experiencing that myself so hopefully in 30 years my florals with flourish and be lush just like hers! Inside the ladies were in great spirits, full of laughter and excited that their Daylyn + John were tying the knot! There were tons of emotions Saturday both good and bad. I don’t know how through all the tears Daylyn stayed absolutely stunning, but she did!

Even through the extreme heat, humidity and scare of COVID-19, their closest family, friends and loved ones all came to support these two and made it a day they would never forget!

Cortland + Chris

Cortland + Chris

With all that’s going on in the world today these two have managed to overcome stress and frustration to have one of the most beautiful and emotional wedding of 2020! When I met up with Cortland and Chris I instantly connected with them. I was mesmerized by her beauty and those eyes! Chris was more quiet, charismatic and such a gentleman.. Well.. just at first! During our journey I saw the fun, playful, crazy and humorous side of him and how much Cortland adored him for that.

We started off our day at Holy Family Catholic Church where all of there loved ones gathered to celebrate the unity of these two. Talk about Southern hospitality! The bridal party and family members were so welcoming, extremely sweet and made my job so pleasant! Cortland was so calm and looked like a Goddess in her La Reve Bridal Couture gown. Chris was excited, smiling from ear to ear ready to see his future bride walk down the isle for the first time, which by the way is one of my most favorite moments ever! Some grooms get choked up, some grooms cry uncontrollably. Chris was one of the ones that choked up but was able to hold it together. Cortland on the other hand.. well lets just say her hormones got the best of her.. Once she saw her groom, there was no holding back.

My time with Cortland + Chris was short during their forever day but! We will be proceeding with the reception in September. I can’t wait to continue such beautiful moments with these two! Well 3! Surprise! These two will be expecting a daughter this winter and I couldn’t be more excited for them!

Candace + Jeffrey Reynolds Wedding

Candace + Jeffrey Reynolds Wedding

These two are some of the sweetest, most welcoming people I have ever met! Our original meeting was to discuss their wedding details and tailor their forever day specifically to their style and needs.. to doing one year, family, engagements to wedding.

Unfortunately their wedding didn’t happen exactly as planned with a room full of all of their closest friends and loved ones… but I can tell you these small intimate weddings are happening more now than usual and are the sweetest moments ever. I simply adore them!

I started my day pulling up to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown which by the way is a beautiful red brick historical church with low and high white framed windows and lush landscape. After a few minutes chatting with the bride and her tribe I walked outside admiring all of the beauty with the brides dress in hand ready to hang it over the white windows for detail shots. Still admiring all the beauty, still taking it all in when all of a sudden a yellow jacket came right at me and stung me! Ughhhhh, I’m tolerable to pain but for some reason those suckers hurt!

Moving forward to their ceremony, it was short, sweet and extremely romantic! They had 14 of their closest loved ones to witness their unity and their sweet little boy had front row pretty much the whole time LOL. It was the sweetest thing!

At the end of the day, they closed the biggest day of their lives with an announcement of a second Baby Reynolds in the future! Carter is so excited to be a big brother! I can’t wait to see this beautiful family expand to 4!
